1. At its core public is a visual effects boutique with the artistry and firepower of a large scale visual effects company. We have chosen intimacy, flexibility and creative freedom over the pipeline-driven structure of larger effects facilities. We have lured big-time artists from these constraints with the promise of ground level involvement in a highly collaborative environment. Ninety-nine percent of all visual effects for commercials are executed by a handful of talented artists working together to execute a vision. For the one percent of work that requires an army we encourage you to visit our larger competitors. But if you want to sit shoulder-to-shoulder and roll up your creative sleeves with the artists who are actually working on your project, then come to Market Street in Venice and give us a try.

2. We have one team and that’s the A-team. A handful of very experienced visual effects talent. Sometimes you’ll get all of us. Sometimes you’ll get some of us. But you’ll always get one of us. Or from time to time, we’ll have to say sorry, try us again on your next one. But it’s the DNA of our focus and commitment to the project that makes all the difference when it’s your project that’s at hand. We all bring something unique to the process of creating compelling imagery with computers. What we bring above all else is a joy for the work and the process of creation.

3. From inception, our vision has been profoundly simple. Corral the best artists and technology in the smallest possible package. Surround this package with production expertise and support to provide the team with the creative freedom to find greatness. And house it all in a beautiful working environment so we can all comfortably follow our bliss. We love what we do--integrating evocative photorealistic visual effects with film.
